Gann cycles. Short-Term Gold Price Forecasts Weekly Gold In the first half of 2026, gold price movements triggered a strong corrective move that pushed prices from a high of $5,598 in the week of January 30 to a low of $3,942 in the week of July 3. The initial downward acceleration along the 2X1 angle during the first period between March 6 and March 27 alternated with a move toward its Drift—that is, the 1X1 angle highlighted in red in the image above. The 1X4 and 1X2 angular support levels halted the decline, along with the Low Square that expired during the week of July 3, setting the stage for a pullback. The rebound occurred during the subsequent weekly setup on August 7: from a low of $4,019, the gold market reached the descending 1X2 angle at 4,696 on August 28. The latest trading signals coincide with September 4–11, 2026. The short-term trend has returned to a negative sideways pattern, and support levels are located between $4,253 and $4,148, at the angles that actually generated the first positive acceleration of the summer period. The next market signal coincides with the first week of October, suggesting the potential start of a short-term accumulation phase between the two 1X2 angle vectors. A bullish break above $4,515 will confirm the positive recovery regardless of angular resistance levels. Medium-Term Gold Price Trends Monthly Gold Chart Since September 2025, the gold trend has experienced a marked upward acceleration, pushing prices above the upper boundary of the previous uptrend channel (marked in yellow) to reach a new all-time high of $5,598. In the medium term, however, the gold trend temporarily stalled upon the expiration of the double time-based signal on February 26. The setup candle closed as an inside bar, triggering a new bearish phase the following month that lasted until last August. In August, prices broke above the high of the previous signal from May, restoring a new medium-term bullish trend. October 2026 coincides with the next monthly gold market signal. Resistance levels are in the $4,663 and $5,090 ranges. Only a break below $4,009 will trigger a new downtrend: initial support levels are in the $4,067 and $3,772 ranges. Quarterly Gold Technical Analysis and Long-Term Signals Quarterly Gold The long-term trend, after 10 consecutive positive quarters, has paused in the second quarter of 2026. Additional support levels are in the $3,800 range. Resistance levels are in the $5,210 and $5,755 ranges.
